Reiko Aylesworth is an American film, television and stage actress who shot to fame with the role of Michelle Dessler in the long running television show "24".
She graduated from University of Washington in neuroscience.
Reiko won the "ABC" talent search show.
She appeared in television commercials for 'Scope'.
Reiko started her acting career with the television drama "One Life to Live" in 1968.
She has performed in many single episodic television shows such as "Lifestories: Families in Crisis" [1996], "Law & Order" [1997], "Now and Again" [1999], "Ed" [2002], "The Dead Zone" [2003], "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" [2004], "Conviction" [2006] and several other TV dramas.
Reiko repeatedly auditioned for FOX Network's television show "24" in 2001 and 2002 and failed both the times. She was finally selected in her third audition and got the role of Michelle Dessler, a CTU agent in "24" [62 episodes: 2002-2006] which brought her huge fame.
Aylesworth also performed recurring roles in a number of television series like "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" [3 episodes: 2000], "The American Embassy" [5 episodes: 2002], "Lost" [3 episodes: 2009] and many others.
